Getting Your Memorabilia Safely From Us to You
At MSC Sports Memorabilia (“MSC”, “we”, “our”, or “us”), we understand that many of the items we ship are collectible, valuable, fragile, and sometimes irreplaceable.
A signed jersey is exciting. A signed jersey arriving folded into something resembling modern art? Less exciting.
That’s why we take packaging, protection, and shipping seriously.
This Shipping Policy explains how shipping, delivery, packaging, insurance, and delivery-related issues are handled.
Shipping Locations
We currently ship:
- Within South Africa
- Internationally on selected items and by arrangement
Certain oversized, framed, cased, or fragile items may have shipping restrictions depending on destination and courier availability.
If international shipping is unavailable for a specific product, please contact us and we’ll see what can reasonably be arranged.
Processing Times
Orders are typically processed within:
- 1–3 business days for standard in-stock items
- Additional time for custom framing, special packaging, or large displays

Estimated delivery timelines are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed.
Delivery Timeframes
Estimated delivery times after dispatch:
South Africa
- Major metropolitan areas: approximately 1–5 business days
- Regional or outlying areas: approximately 3–7 business days
International Deliveries

International orders may take several business days or weeks depending on local conditions and customs processing.
Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated during checkout based on:
- Delivery location
- Product size and weight
- Packaging requirements
- Insurance requirements
- Courier rates
Your purchase price excludes shipping costs. Shipping will be quoted separately based on the type, size, fragility, and delivery destination of your memorabilia to ensure it is handled and delivered safely. For oversized, fragile, framed, or particularly valuable items, additional shipping arrangements or quotations may apply.
Packaging Standards
We take great care in packaging memorabilia items appropriately for transit.
Depending on the product, packaging may include:
- Protective wrapping
- Reinforced cartons
- Bubble protection
- Corner protectors
- Foam inserts
- Protective display packaging
- Fragile handling labels
Framed and cased memorabilia items receive additional protective packaging due to their fragile nature.
We package items with the same level of care collectors tend to reserve for opening packs of trading cards.
Insurance & High-Value Items
Certain shipments may include shipping insurance at our discretion or as part of the courier service.
For high-value items:
- Signature on delivery may be required
- Additional verification or confirmation may be requested before dispatch
- Delivery may only be made to verified physical addresses
Risk & Ownership
Ownership of products transfers to the customer once payment has been successfully received in full.
Risk in the product passes to the customer upon confirmed delivery to the delivery address provided during checkout.
Please ensure that:
- Delivery details are accurate
- Someone is available to receive the parcel where required
Delivery Delays
While we work with trusted courier partners, delays may occasionally occur due to:
- Weather conditions
- Public holidays
- Operational disruptions
- Strikes
- Customs delays
- Incorrect delivery information
- Force majeure events
MSC Sports Memorabilia is not liable for delays outside of our reasonable control.
We’ll always do our best to assist where possible, though sadly we cannot personally negotiate with traffic, weather systems, or customs officials.
Damaged Deliveries
If your parcel arrives visibly damaged:
- Please notify us within 48 hours of delivery
- Retain all packaging materials
- Provide clear photographs of:
- The packaging
- The shipping label
- The damaged item
This information helps us investigate the matter with the courier and, where applicable, insurance providers.
Failure to report damage promptly may affect our ability to process shipping-related claims.
Incorrect Shipping Information
Customers are responsible for ensuring that shipping details provided during checkout are accurate.
MSC Sports Memorabilia is not responsible for:
- Delays caused by incorrect addresses
- Failed deliveries due to incorrect contact information
- Additional courier charges resulting from incorrect delivery details
If an order is returned to us due to incorrect information, additional shipping charges may apply before re-delivery.
International Orders, Duties & Taxes
For international shipments:
- Import duties
- Customs fees
- VAT or local taxes
- Clearance charges
may apply depending on the destination country.
These charges are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise stated.
MSC Sports Memorabilia has no control over customs processes or charges imposed by foreign authorities.
Delivery Refusals & Uncollected Parcels
If a shipment is:
- Refused
- Unclaimed
- Returned to sender
due to customer actions or failure to cooperate with delivery or customs procedures, additional shipping and handling fees may apply.
Refunds may be reduced by:
- Courier costs
- Return shipping fees
- Customs charges
- Packaging costs
Collection Options
Where applicable, collection arrangements may be available for selected items by prior arrangement.
Collection instructions and requirements will be communicated directly where relevant.
Shipping Restrictions
We reserve the right to refuse shipment of certain items where:

- Customs regulations prohibit shipment
- Packaging safety cannot reasonably be guaranteed
